Having communication tools and strategies when having difficult conversations can help us have a positive outcome. But that’s just part of the equation. How we show up and the energy we bring to difficult conversations is largely determined by how well we know and take care of ourselves. In this episode, Embodiment Coach and HSP Mentor Manisha Tare, is sharing how we can prepare for tough conversations by paying attention to our internal state, notice patterns and triggers, and process big emotions so that we can show up more neutral, curious, open, and vulnerable when in conflict.
WE ALSO TALK ABOUT
How to assess internal and external safety before having difficult conversations.
How to process big feelings/emotions in your body.
How can we become more self-aware around our energy and our triggers.
How can we build up our tolerance for feelings of uncertainty or discomfort.
How can we support our nervous system before during and after tough conversations.
ABOUT MANISHA TARE

Manisha has a B.S. in Occupational Therapy from New York University and holds a Master's in Public Health from Columbia University. She pursued advanced training in CranioSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release through the Upledger Institute to learn how to help her clients shift the energy of traumatic experiences held in their bodies. I’m sharing my exact prompts and the responses that ChatGPT came up with so you can see why specificity is key, why humans shouldn’t be afraid that they’ll become obsolete, and which elements of your podcast you can really let a chatbot write for you.
